The Association of Refugee Women in Uganda is a refugee-led women's rights organization committed to improving livelihoods and food security for refugee and host communities in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. We implement innovative climate-smart agricultural initiatives that promote resilience, sustainability, and inclusive economic opportunities. Our holistic approach combines technical expertise with community empowerment to create lasting change in agricultural productivity and environmental stewardship.
Role Purpose
The role involves providing training, mentorship, and market linkages to strengthen entrepreneurship and improve livelihoods among refugee and host communities
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver business training and mentorship to refugee women entrepreneurs
- Facilitate market linkages, partnerships, and networking opportunities
- Support the development and implementation of business plans.
- Monitor and evaluate business performance and growth
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in enterprise development or business support.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability in market research and analysis
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools.
- Strong financial acumen and accounting skills
